Why Obama deserves four more years.

When some one has a fall and has a head injury, to relieve pressure, the Neurosurgeon has to remove the portion of scalp to let the inflammation and swelling to reduce. Any premature attempt to close it will result in compression of the brain tissues and will cause catastrophic results. When the damage to the US economy has been debilitated by the prior administration's fiscal policies, one cannot rush in and stop spending to cover the deficits which could have pushed us into a greater depression far worse than the one we had in the 1920's. The Government was and is cognizant of the fact that our deficit is at an all time high but the people it represents were hurting so badly that it could not ask people, in good faith to eat cakes when there was no bread left. All economists though they kept reminding of the free fall due to the deficits have opined that to boost the economy in the near term, the Government had to keep spending to keep the economy from going into a depression and that has prevented the country from digging itself into a bigger hole and has helped to slowly inch forward towards a recovery however fragile it may sound but nonetheless a recovery. All economists have agreed that we are not tethering at the edge of another recession. The recovery did not seem to be felt due to the obstructionism of the Republican Party which in the first place was the culprit in rubber stamping President Bush's policies- clearing way for Two wars, Medicare Part D benefits, Tax cuts with out having a plan of how to bring down the deficits. And suddenly coming to its senses, they would make us believe that the hole has to be plugged immediately without realizing how deep and wide they had dug. They would want the President to take the blame for not making the recovery faster and expect the American people to forget the hard times, the struggles, the tears and blood they had to shed for no fault of theirs and put them back in power with no clue, plans, policies and expect the American people to trust them. In good faith, President Obama deserves four more years based on the policies he has pursued in bringing financial and wall street regulations to give the middle class stability and saving the retirement funds from evaporating as one could see based on the recovery of the stock market to an all time high.
