Blacks are shot or forced to succumb to injuries caused by cops for reasons that are incomprehensible. Blacks are prosecuted for drug crimes at a very high percentage when compared to the whites. Blacks are considered as,”Our enemy forces” by the white police officers. Blacks are still treated as numbers or less of a human being, in spite of the civil rights act enacted in the sixties. Blacks are considered as trouble makers, rioters, violent criminals, drug pushers, gun peddlers. Blacks are considered to not stick to the societal norms, have no education, no family values, dependent on Governmental handouts, have no personal responsibility and a disgrace to the society at large.

With all that is preordained, guilty until proven innocent, The Blacks are marginalized, never given an opportunity to redeem for crimes committed, never given the benefit of doubt for the inhumane conditions they grew up before they get incarcerated, before they are locked up and the keys thrown away, before they were once, just kids like any of ours who aspired and did want to make a difference to the very society that looks the other way because the Society is not color blind and over years did develop a distaste to the very color,”Black”.

We have a Black President, a Black AG, A Black Governor, A Black Mayor, A Black Entrepreneur and many Blacks who have held esteemed positions in the hearts and minds of everyday Americans. But the less educated whites who are the largest recipients of the Governmental handouts, who believe in second amendment and use it to buy guns and neglect their families because the black helicopters will be coming and they have to defend themselves, believe they are superior and feel that that no black deserve to be treated as human beings. The Cops and Correction Officers with a HS diploma, and many State Employees who happen to be white believe in their white supremacy.

It seems OK to claim that one shooting to be attributed to a rogue cop. But when it is nation wide, thanks to Phone technology with cameras, it needs to be addressed. No Eulogy either by President or other prominent leaders will erase the pain and hurt experienced by a single community. Until actions are taken, like sensitivity training, where the White Cops start to believe that their son, brother, uncle, father, wife, daughter are on whom the bullets pierce and blood spurts because of their actions and only because of their actions, that someone they consider to be close, human and deserves to live end up dying will there be peace, admiration for justice and an end to the new segregation.
